G3 Core Concepts graduate, John Burke (aka LAJohnny – LA stands for Landscape Architect, not Los Angeles), wrote a great article for the Ventura Breeze on the curb cutting event held at Dan Long’s house in Ventura. The article is a really good synopsis of the importance of Rain Gardens and Curb Cuts as things ordinary citizens can do to lower the financial burdens of cities, and presumably lower the cities’ call on citizens to support these burdens through taxes, fees, etc. Check out the Ventura Breeze Article Rain Gardens and LAJohnny’s Blog Post.
