Malibu Bluffs Park Grading Under Way
With design and bid documents in place, the Ocean Friendly Demonstration Garden at Malibu Bluffs Park in Malibu, CA is finally underway on a blazing installation schedule that will bring the project to completion by the beginning of March 2013. Tom Stout of Stout Design:Build, a CA Licensed Landscape Contractor and G3 Certified Professional 2010, placed the winning bid to install the project.
Construction began February 11, 2013 with overall site grading under the supervision of Alison Terry, Licensed Landscape Architect, and G3 Certified Professional 2009, the G3 Design Team Lead on this project. This project is the second of ten very high profile demonstration projects G3 will be designing for the Ocean Friendly Landscape Program (a collaboration between West Basin MWD and Surfrider Foundation under a Prop 50 grant).

Today the team is placing boulders for the dry creek beds and planting accents.
