As California faces the dual challenges of rising temperatures and growing wildfire threats, we need to redefine what resilience looks like. Join us on Thursday, February 26, 2026 for the annual Santa Clara Valley Water District Landscape Summit: Resilient Landscapes: Defensible Space Meets Urban Cooling
This event will explore how defensible space and urban cooling can work hand-in-hand to create landscapes that are both fire-smart and climate-adaptive.
Get updates about the latest Zone 0 guidelines, hear how designers are rebuilding after devastating fires, and discover how CA native plants and soils play a critical role in managing fire behavior and supporting cooler, healthier communities.
The summit is free, but advance registration is required. Please register below and select if you will be attending In-person or virtually. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendance.
