Join us Tuesday, November 19, 2024 for a 2-hour Live Zoom Webinar on “Resilient Alternatives to Non-Functional Commercial Turf,” as we discuss watershed-wise alternatives to a monoculture of ornamental green grass, particularly in large residential and commercial/institutional landscapes.

We’ll discuss the radical idea of keeping the existing lawn in place and creating a “Polyculture” green functional space. Attendees will learn:

• Importance of polycultures and diversity
• Selecting plants for greater resiliency and soil health
• Step-by-step process to accomplishing the transition
• Opportunities for rainwater capture
• Managing with limited irrigation
