Join us IN PERSON on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, for a free “Protecting the Trees” workshop hosted by Jurupa Community Services District.
In this class, you will learn best practices in tree selection, planting, watering, and maintenance. Also highlight how integral trees are to creating a resilient landscape.
This workshop will cover:
- The importance of trees in the landscape
- How to prioritize trees on your property
- How to plant and care for trees
- 3-ways to adapt your irrigation system to keep trees watered
The class is free, but advance registration is required as we have limited seating. Please make sure to sign up below.
Start time is 6:00 pm. We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to get settled.

Greetings. Thank you for your interest in this event!! For those of you interested in paying by credit card, you certainly can. PayPal is only the processor for our financial transactions, but you don’t have to pay that way. When you click on the Paypal button it takes you to a screen with the option to Pay by Card. After selecting that, you’ll be asked to enter your email and phone for verification. You'll then receive a secure log-in code to access payment by Credit Card. Whew!
