Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Thursday, August 13, 2026, for a free “Art in the Garden: The Sculpted Landscape,” webinar hosted by California American Water and Monterey Peninsula Water Management District
You don’t need to be an art collector to turn your landscape into an outdoor gallery. This workshop will help you develop your eye for scale, an understanding of material durability, and the courage to experiment with plant specimens and unique objects to create an intentional and architectural living space that doesn’t belie its do-it-yourself origins.
- Create a sense of movement through the garden
- Select materials and installation techniques that will withstand the elements (and the earthquakes)
- Utilize specimen plants as living structural focal points
- Integrate found objects into the story of the landscape
The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.
Start time is 6:00 pm. We’ll open the doors a few minutes early to ensure you have plenty of time to settle into your technology.
