Join us for a Live ZOOM Webinar (75 minutes) on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, for a free “Hugelkultur” workshop hosted by California American Water. This horticultural practice creates raised planting beds constructed of woody material and other compostable biomass. Attendees will learn:

  1. What is Hugelkultur and why consider it
  2. Criteria and considerations in determining whether hugelkultur makes sense for your landscape
  3. Siting and sizing hugels
  4. Maintenance and troubleshooting

The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.

Start time is 6:00 pm.  We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to settle into your technology.

Directions for Payment by Credit Card
Greetings. Thank you for your interest in this event!! For those of you interested in paying by credit card, you certainly can. PayPal is only the processor for our financial transactions, but you don’t have to pay that way. When you click on the Paypal button it takes you to a screen with the option to Pay by Card. After selecting that, you’ll be asked to enter your email and phone for verification. You'll then receive a secure log-in code to access payment by Credit Card. Whew!
