Join us to learn how to select and plant beautiful CA native plants that thrive in the climate of Ventura County, CA. We will show you how to convert a spray irrigation system into a drip system and you will lay out a portion of the in-line drip grid.
This Hands on Workshop (HOW) on Planting & Drip Irrigation will take place in Oak Park, CA on November 5th from 9:00AM til 12:00 PM. The event is hosted by Ventura County Watershed Protection District and Surfrider Foundation’s Ocean Friendly Gardens Program Ventura Committee.
This is the fourth and final HOW in the Series: Site Evaluation 10/1, Design Seminar 10/8, Turf Removal 10/29 and Planting & Irrigation 11/5. Join us for one HOW or all four; use the Calendar to register for other classes. Sign up below.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a shovel if you have one. Also, wear sunscreen and bring a hat and water bottle if you plan on getting hands-on in the garden. You will not be able to work in the landscape with open-toe shoes. There will be no exceptions.
The event is free, but registration is required. Scroll down and complete the registration below to secure your place in the class. Each person attending the class must register. A confirmation will be sent with more instructions and parking instructions, if they are necessary.
Start time: 9:00 AM, so try to arrive 15 minutes early in order to settle into your seat.
