Join us in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, July 30th for a Landscape Design Seminar. Learn how to replace your lawn with a climate appropriate garden and create your own landscape design. The event is hosted by LADWP and the Los Angeles Beautification Team as part of a 2016 Community Partnership Water Conservation Grant. This three-hour interactive workshop identifies the steps for successfully designing a watershed wise landscape – including;
- Understanding and contouring for rainwater
- Creating a list of climate appropriate plants
- Placing plant symbols on a plan using key design principals
This Design Seminar will take place at the Mark Twain Branch of the LA County Library at 9621 Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90003. The event is free, but registration is required, as seating is limited. Scroll down and complete the registration below to secure your place in the class. Each person attending the class must register. A confirmation will be sent with more instructions and parking instructions, if they are necessary.
Bring a 1/4″ scale drawing of your property (a site plan) to this class so you can apply specific ideas to YOUR landscape.
