Join us IN PERSON on Thursday, May 7, 2026, for a free Climate Ready Landscape Academy (CRLA): Healthy Soils and Edible Landscapes workshops hosted by the City of Bozeman and featuring G3’s CEO and Founding Mother, Pamela Berstler.
Learn how to turn kitchen scraps and yard waste into biologically active compost to enliven the soil, reduce waste, and cycle back into healthy local food. This class covers why and what to compost, sheet-composting to build healthy soil, and how to work with nature to create your own climate-ready landscape, no matter what you are planting. Topics include:
- Understand the important role of microbes and plants in overall soil health
- Discuss different composting methods for different outcomes
- Learn what to use and what to avoid in building compost piles
- Use “sheet composting” to build healthy living soil on a landscape scale
- Grow abundant healthy food even in the city
The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.
Start time is 6:00 pm (Mountain Time). We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to mingle and meet other attendees as well as ask questions of the instructor.
