Firescaping: Reducing the Vulnerability - Upper Water

Join us in person on Saturday, October 4, 2025, for a free Firescaping class hosted by Upper San Gabriel Valley MWD. This class is available to Upper District service area residents only.

In a time of drought and high heat, learn some of the ways you can make your home less vulnerable to fires:

  1. Determine key points of vulnerability
  2. Understand the role of soil moisture balance
  3. Review landscape maintenance practices for protection
  4. Plan a fire-resistant landscape

The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.

Start time is 10:00 am.  We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to settle in.
