Due to an incident that occurred a few hours ago in the City of Pico Rivera, a few blocks away from our location, the decision was made to cancel the event out of an abundance of caution and in the interest of community safety. While there was every intention to move forward, the recent activity in the area has prompted a reassessment, and this is the most responsible course of action at this time. Join us IN PERSON, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, for a free Edible Gardening workshop, hosted by the Water Replenishment District of Southern California and the City of Pico Rivera Senior Center. Join us for a taste and learn more about:

1. Integrating edibles in the landscape
2. Growing vegetables in planters
3. How to successfully irrigate vegetables
4. Planning for edibles all year round

The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.

This class will be interpreted in Spanish. Esta clase será interpretada en español.

Start time is 10:00 am.  We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to get settled.
