Join us IN PERSON on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, for two free Climate Ready Landscape Academy (CRLA) workshops hosted by the City of Bozeman and featuring G3’s CEO and Founding Mother, Pamela Berstler.
- CRLA: How Much Water Does a Garden Need?: The number one reason gardens struggle is due to poor watering practices, yet landscapes in many climates need supplemental irrigation to thrive. This class provides practical tools for irrigating gardens more efficiently and effectively as well as tips for identifying and eliminating landscape leaks that waste water and money. Topics include:
- Understand how irrigation works to replace soil moisture removed by plants
- Properly design and install a drip irrigation system to water your landscape
- Prevent runoff, overspray, and water waste when running the irrigation system
- Troubleshoot common outdoor leak issues
2. Landscape Installation on Every Budget: Whether you’re looking to transform your yard completely or eager to add a new corner to your garden, reimagining your space doesn’t have to break the bank. Landscaping projects can be overwhelming, but with a little creativity and a little know-how, your dream garden can become a reality. You can do it! This class helps you get great results whether you install your landscape as a weekend project or work with professionals. Topics include:
-
- Prioritize installing landscape design elements when you are on a limited budget
- Develop a planning framework for your garden transformation and your investment
- Decide whether you do it yourself or invest in professional assistance
- Get creative with materials and techniques – where to source and how to use them
- Install with future “landcare” in mind
The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.
Start time is 5:30 pm (Mountain Time). We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to mingle and meet other attendees as well as ask questions of the instructor.
