Join us in Hermosa Beach at the Hermosa Beach Community Theater on Thursday, August 29, 2019 for a free Turf Removal and Garden Transformation workshop hosted by West Basin MWD. Learn how to remove your lawn and make the right moves for creating a gorgeous, watershed wise landscape including:

  3. Identify the Type of Turf Grass in Your Yard
  4. Remove Grass Without Chemicals
  5. Build Healthy Living Soil
  6. Select Climate-appropriate Plants that Minimize Water Use and Maximize Beauty and Biodiversity
  7. Implement a Maintenance Schedule that Keeps Your Yard Gorgeous All Year ‘Round

Start time is 5:30 pm, so try to arrive a tad early to settle into your seat. Parking is plentiful in the adjacent lot.
