Join us at the Arcadia Public Library on Thursday, August 1st, 2019 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for a free Turf Removal workshop, hosted by the City’s Water Conservation Program. Learn how to remove turf grass and replace with gorgeous, water-wise landscaping. Topics of discussion include:

  1. Evaluating opportunities in your landscape
  2. Planning your garden transformation
  3. Identifying the type of turf grass in your yard
  4. Removing grass without chemicals
  5. Building healthy soil
  6. Selecting climate-appropriate plants
  7. Implementing a maintenance schedule
  8. Information on the Turf Replacement Rebate ($2 per square foot)

Greetings. Thank you for your interest in this event!! For those of you interested in paying by credit card, you certainly can. PayPal is only the processor for our financial transactions, but you don’t have to pay that way. When you click on the Paypal button it takes you to a screen with the option to Pay by Card. After selecting that, you’ll be asked to enter your email and phone for verification. You'll then receive a secure log-in code to access payment by Credit Card. Whew!
