Join us in person on Thursday, October 29, 2026, for a free Protect the Trees class hosted by Rowland Water District. This class is available to Rowland Water District service area residents only.

It is no secret that trees are vital to the health of the planet, and even more so during times of unprecedented drought. Learn the steps you can take to protect the health of trees in your landscape and community.

1. Understand how trees collaborate in the landscape
2. Develop an irrigation strategy for efficiently watering trees
3. Separate irrigation systems for trees planted in grass areas
4. Develop a successful maintenance practice to ensure survival

The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.

Start time is 5:30 pm.  We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to settle in.
