Rainwater Capture - San Diego County

Join us on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, for a Rainwater Capture class hosted by San Diego County Department of Public Works.

This is part of a series on learning how to design a yard using the principles of watershed-wise landscaping. This webinar focuses specifically on best management practices for passive and active capturing of rainwater in the landscape:

  1. Review the criteria and considerations in selecting a rainwater capture method
  2. Swales and Berms (calculations, setbacks, installation)
  3. Cisterns
  4. Integrating Hardscape
