Garden Maintenance Training provides gardeners with practical information to manage watershed wise landscapes more effectively, including:
- Prune native and climate-appropriate plants (perennials, shrubs, and trees)
- Build soil with mulch and compost or remove turf without chemicals
- Identify leaks and adjusting drip irrigation for proper application around plants
- Understand the principles of smart controllers
- Identify rainwater capture areas and keeping them free of debris; cleaning gutters, downspouts and catch basins
- Maintain any existing lawn with aeration and compost
- Adjust monthly maintenance schedules and price work more sustainably
- These workshops are taught in English with Simultaneous Spanish Interpretation
- Typical length of workshop ranges from 120 -180 Minutes
