Pets and Kids Friendly Landscapes

Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, for a free Pets and Kids Friendly Landscapes class hosted by California American Water, Monterey Peninsula Water Management District, and the Water Awareness Committee.

Gardens are meant to be enjoyed by all members of the family, be it adults, children, or the family pet. Join us to find out more about providing safe, welcoming spaces for the entire household. Attendees will learn about:

1. What makes a garden ‘kid friendly’
2. Developing fun, stimulating gardens beyond turf
3. Landscaping with safety in mind, for kids and pets
4. Managing animal waste
5. Integrating child and pet areas into the rest of the landscape

The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.

Start time is 6:00 pm (Pacific Time).  We’ll be ‘opening the doors’ a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to settle into your technology.
