Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Saturday, January 30, 2021, for a free Garden Design Workshop hosted by Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. This advanced workshop is geared for folks who have already taken the California Friendly and/or the Turf Removal workshops.

In this class you will learn how to identify critical steps for successfully designing a watershed wise landscape. Topics include:

  1. Sizing and siting the rainwater capture area
  2. Developing a palette of climate-appropriate plants
  3. Applying key design principles
  4. Laying out a successful planting plan

The class is free, but registration is required.   Please note this class is limited to customers of the Metropolitan Water District service area.

Start time is 11:00 am.  We’ll be ‘opening the doors’ at a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to settle into your technology.

Directions for Payment by Credit Card
Greetings. Thank you for your interest in this event!! For those of you interested in paying by credit card, you certainly can. PayPal is only the processor for our financial transactions, but you don’t have to pay that way. When you click on the Paypal button it takes you to a screen with the option to Pay by Card. After selecting that, you’ll be asked to enter your email and phone for verification. You'll then receive a secure log-in code to access payment by Credit Card. Whew!
