Join us to learn how to contour the landscape for capturing rainwater from the roof and how to remove turf and build healthy living soil through a process called Sheet Mulching (or Soil Lasagna).

This Lawn Be Gone (HOW) will take place at a private residence in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, October 19, from 9:00 AM til 1:00 PM.  The event is hosted by LADWP.

This is the first HOW in a SERIES:  Turf Removal 10/19 and Planting & Irrigation 10/26.  Join us for one HOW or both.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a shovel, if you have one. A hat, sunscreen, and water bottle also are recommended if you want to be hands-on in the garden. You will not be permitted in the garden with open-toe shoes. There will be no exceptions.

The event is free, but registration is required, as seating is limited. Registration is taken HERE.

Each person attending the class must register. This HOW is conducted at a private residence. The address will be confirmed via email to you within a week of the event date.

Start time: 9:00 AM, so try to arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign in.
