Project Description

Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) provides potable water, wastewater treatment, recycled water and biosolids composting to more than 65,000 residents in the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Westlake Village, and unincorporated areas of western Los Angeles County.

G3 is collaborated with LVMWD on a 2013 Innovative Conservation Grant from Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. The ICP Grant funded research analyzing the water conservation and soil structure building effects of applying Actively Aerated Compost Tea (AACT) on turf grass. This research project was conducted from March 2014 – March 2016.

G3 also provides ad hoc homeowner / property owner training to LVMWD’s residents.
