LADWP’s unique Community Partnership Grant enabled G3 to work with multiple partners (Selva International, Surfrider Foundation, Los Angeles Beautification Team, Los Angeles City Council Districts) over multiple years to effect all aspects of the landscape industry with the new normal of landscaping, the watershed approach. The programs included Watershed Wise Landscape Professional Certification, classes for property/homeowners including Landscape Design Seminars, Watershed Basics Classes, Hands-on Lawn Be Gone Workshops, and technical assistance in the form of one-on-one coaching called Garden Gurus.
