G3-About-OurWork-20140809_LA_HOW_LBG#1_20Join us to learn how to contour the landscape for capturing rainwater from the roof and how to remove turf and build healthy living soil through a process called Sheet Mulching (or Soil Lasagna).

This Lawn Be Gone (HOW) will take place at a private residence in Oxnard, CA on Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 AM til 12:00 PM.  The event is hosted by the City of Oxnard.

This is the second HOW in a SERIES:  Design Seminar 11/19, Turf Removal 12/03 and Planting & Irrigation 12/10.  Join us for one HOW or all three; use the Calendar to register for other classes.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a shovel, if you have one. A hat, sunscreen, and water bottle also are recommended if you want to be hands-on in the garden. You will not be permitted in the garden with open-toe shoes. There will be no exceptions.

The event is free, but registration is required, as seating is limited. Scroll down and complete the registration below to secure your place in the class or email Diego.Zabala@ci.oxnard.ca.us  with your contact information.

Start time: 9:00 AM, so try to arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign in.
